These proposed terms distinguish customer payments to providers from the commercial charges providers owe SharkTask. Reading this draft creates no new fee or debt.
Autonomy and professional responsibility
Providers set services, prices, promotions, availability and which requests to accept. They must accurately describe scope, meet their agreements and comply with applicable tax, invoicing and professional requirements. Contract labels do not override the legal nature established by actual facts.
This draft sets no universal hourly or daily minimum price. Any legal floor requires an applicable legal basis; labor obligations are not replaced by a service price.
Identity, credentials and assigned workers
Identity verification is separate from qualifications, professional registrations, permits and optional certificates. Public lists show only approved, current checks and their scope. Companies cannot claim a worker’s identity or professional authorization as their own.
Regulated services require applicable authorizations before publication and performance. Healthcare checks include ReTHUS, and legal services require the applicable professional registration and validity checks. A diploma does not replace these checks. Optional certificates do not replace mandatory requirements.
Report changes, expiry and assigned workers. Submit documents privately; verification does not authorize publication. False documents or impersonation may result in restrictions and review.
Prices, deposits and projects
Customers must know and accept scope, price, applicable taxes and deposits before contracting. Deposits may be fixed or percentage-based but must not exceed the agreement. Retain payment and delivery evidence; changes require acceptance.
A consultation, visit or assessment may generate a platform charge while the later project is excluded from its fee base. Under this model a subsequent solar installation, for example, is excluded from the visit commission. The exclusion must be explicit in the offer and accepted commercial plan.
SharkTask plans and charges
Proposed alternatives include commission per eligible service, subscription, and subscription plus a per-service charge. Rates, amounts, included services, calculation base, taxes, discounts and switching rules must be included in an accepted commercial plan. This draft imposes no subscription, rate or minimum term.
Plan changes do not recalculate historical charges. The same charge must not be collected twice. Cancellations, refunds and disputes require traceable adjustments rather than deleting confirmed entries.
Customer payments to a provider do not mean SharkTask received funds. Likewise, uploading a receipt to SharkTask does not automatically prove that the provider’s account is paid.
Statements, settlement and overdue balances
Weekly or twice-monthly billing periods are proposed, with disclosed due dates, payment windows and notices. Frequency, grace period and the event that creates each charge remain subject to approval and configuration.
Statements must identify bookings, applicable plan, fee base, charges, adjustments, payments and balance. Providers can dispute errors and submit receipts. SharkTask confirms payments through reconciliation or authorized review, not screenshots alone.
After an agreed deadline and notices, an overdue, enforceable, undisputed balance may restrict new bookings and commercial visibility. Access to statements, payments, complaints, chat and ongoing bookings must remain available. Disputed amounts require review before restrictions based on those amounts.
Settling the debt lifts the corresponding commercial restriction but not unrelated safety or credential restrictions. This draft introduces no interest, penalties or credit-bureau reporting.
Delivery, evidence and complaints
Supply relevant progress and delivery evidence without unnecessary personal data. Customers may confirm or dispute the outcome. A unilateral statement does not automatically establish accepted work or an undisputed debt.
Respond to complaints and make applicable refunds or corrections. Account closure does not extinguish obligations to customers or SharkTask. This draft offers no insurance or voluntary financial guarantee and preserves statutory responsibilities.
Reviews, data and review of decisions
Internal evidence and public reviews have different purposes and access rules. Do not expose private customer data, fabricate reviews or threaten customers to obtain ratings.
Restrictions must distinguish commercial, professional and safety grounds, with appropriate notice and review. Identity documents are subject to the data policy and applicable authorizations. These terms do not exclude statutory rights.
Required before these terms take effect
Complete the operator’s legal name, tax ID, address and effective notice and complaint channels. Obtain Colombian legal review of the text and actual workflows; approve prices, taxes, deadlines, data policy and final version. Announce the effective date and record the applicable acceptance before enforcing new obligations. This draft does not replace statutory rights or valid existing agreements.
