Customer terms and conditions

Draft for legal review

Proposed terms for the direct-payment model. This is not a final contract and does not establish that every described feature is available. Reading this draft does not activate charges, subscriptions or suspensions.

Version: 2026-10-04-draft-1

These proposed terms cover finding and contracting services offered by identified providers through SharkTask. Providers define their offers and customers choose whether to accept. SharkTask’s obligations also depend on its actual involvement and applicable law.

Account and identity

Provide accurate information and protect account access. Additional customer identity verification is proposed as optional, except for specific disclosed requirements. A confirmed phone or email is not documentary identity verification.

An identity badge requires a current, approved review; uploading an ID alone is insufficient. Professional credentials are separate checks. Badges describe the scope of verification, not a guarantee of future conduct or freedom from fraud.

Service agreement

Before booking, review the provider, scope, delivery mode, price, billing unit, date, location and cancellation conditions. Providers set prices and promotions. Additional work or changes require your prior agreement and preservation of the original agreement.

A visit, assessment or consultation may be separate from a later project. Booking the visit does not mean accepting or paying for the full project.

Direct payments and deposits

The proposed model involves paying the provider directly by the agreed method. SharkTask does not collect or hold service funds under this model. Legacy gateways and wallets are reserved for a future mode requiring separate terms and activation.

Providers may propose a percentage or fixed deposit disclosed before acceptance, with the remaining balance, delivery milestones and applicable refund conditions. Do not pay unaccepted extras. Keep payment evidence and verify the recipient.

An uploaded receipt is a payment claim, not bank verification by SharkTask. Receipt of funds, balances and refunds must be verifiable with the provider; a screen status alone does not settle a dispute.

Delivery and complaints

You may provide evidence of non-delivery, differences from the agreement or missing refunds. Providers remain responsible for their obligations, and SharkTask will handle platform reports within its responsibilities. Complaints and responses must be retained.

This draft offers no insurance or voluntary financial guarantee funded by SharkTask. It does not exclude statutory liability or non-waivable rights. Account suspension does not extinguish an outstanding refund or complaint.

Final cancellation, withdrawal where applicable, warranty and refund rules must match the service and law. Deposits are not presumed non-refundable. Confirming delivery does not waive claims for later defects.

Private evidence and public reviews

Evidence within a booking is intended for tracking and resolving disputes, with role-limited access. It is not published automatically. Customers may choose to publish a review and selected images.

Reviews must reflect genuine experiences. Do not publish identity documents, health data, precise third-party addresses or images without a lawful basis. Threats, exposed personal data, impersonation and fraudulent reviews may be moderated; legitimate criticism is not removed simply because it is negative.

Safety and privacy

SharkTask may take proportionate preventive measures for serious concerns, review evidence and allow parties to respond. Decisions should identify reasons and a review channel without treating an allegation as a finding of criminal guilt.

Identity and documents are processed for disclosed purposes with restricted access and defined retention. Sensitive-data authorizations, where applicable, are handled separately. Authority and data-subject requests follow applicable law. Use official emergency channels in emergencies.

Required before these terms take effect

Complete the operator’s legal name, tax ID, address and effective notice and complaint channels. Obtain Colombian legal review of the text and actual workflows; approve prices, taxes, deadlines, data policy and final version. Announce the effective date and record the applicable acceptance before enforcing new obligations. This draft does not replace statutory rights or valid existing agreements.
